Last month Softboy7 turned 1 year old! :D

I just wanted to take the chance and thank the Newgrounds community specifically.

Backstory:

Softboy7 is my most personal project and people told me it was a bad idea to start this alias & release an album.

But I did it anyway and I'm very glad that I did!

Over the 5 months, I worked on the album, and during the hour-long photoshoots that I did by myself with a self-constructed "photo studio" in my parent's living room, I was well aware that all of this could lead to nothing but I was still willing to take the risk because this is a passion project!

Once the Album was posted I eventually tried to upload it on Newgrounds as well, which didn't work because they needed to check if I had the rights to do so. Shortly after that I received a Twitter DM from Tom Fulp himself, confirming that it was me. He also told me that he was looking forward to featuring some of my music on NG which was a huge honour for me!

In the end, lots of my works got featured here which helped me massively in my career as a music artist.

I am glad that this platform exists because I feel like people really appriciate works of others here but still give their honest opinion.

I've been motivated massively by this community to keep going and follow my heart.
